Nashville, Tenn. — Mar. 20, 2026 — Alpha The Wolf will release a new album, Into The Darkness, on April 3, 2026, the Nashville artist announced. Twelve tracks, self-produced and self-mixed, built from songs that didn't fit the worlds of his last two albums, Frequencies and Synchronicity — pulled back out of the vault rather than left there. Two of the twelve, "Rest" and "C7," are already out as standalone singles.
"A stepping stone. A transition. A gift from the void," is how Alpha The Wolf describes the project — a step into a grittier, more hostile direction, gradual but insidious.
The album's own framing goes further into that territory: "Of course the void refuses to share its gifts for charity but, pain…pain it gleefully exchanges for its power." "True, pain is currency for power but what makes you think you've suffered enough?" "A wretched creature like yourself, what use could you possibly have for a soul?"
