This page explains how the news and blog content at alphathewolf.com is produced, sourced, and corrected. It applies to every post under /blog, including release announcements, release-day coverage, and recaps.

1. Who publishes this

alphathewolf.com is owned and operated by Gary London, the artist who records as Alpha The Wolf, through Void Operations. It is independent and self-funded. There are no outside investors, and blog posts are never sponsored, paid placements, or written in exchange for anything of value.

All blog and news posts are written by Gary London. Every article carries a visible byline and a publication date.

2. What this coverage is

This is an artist-run publication. It reports on Alpha The Wolf's own releases, videos, collaborations, and shows — it is not independent journalism about third parties, and it does not present itself as such. Posts are written in third-person news style for clarity and for press use, but the publisher and the subject are the same person, and that relationship is disclosed here and reflected in the site's structured data.

3. Sourcing and facts

Factual claims — release dates, track counts, producer and collaborator credits, runtimes, venue and tour details — come from the artist's own records, official distribution metadata, and published statements. Where a post cites an outside work (a film referenced in an edit, a producer's location, a comparison drawn by a publication), that detail is based on public, verifiable information.

We do not publish streaming numbers, chart positions, or sales figures unless they come from a named, verifiable source.

4. Quotes

Quotations from Alpha The Wolf are reproduced verbatim from the artist's own social posts, captions, interviews, or statements. We do not paraphrase a quote and present it inside quotation marks, and we do not invent quotes. Social-media posts referenced in a recap are linked to their original source so readers can check the wording.

5. Corrections

If a published post contains a factual error, we correct the post itself and add a dated note at the point of the change (for example: “Correction, [date]: an earlier version gave the runtime as 1:45; it is 1:30.”). Substantive corrections also update the article's dateModified. Minor typo and formatting fixes are made without a note.

To request a correction or flag an error, email wolf@alphathewolf.com with the URL and the specific claim. We aim to respond within a few business days.

6. Updates to living posts

Announcement posts are kept live after a release and updated in place with a dated “Update” block once the release is out. The original announcement text above the update is left intact so the record of what was said, and when, is preserved.

7. AI and tooling

Drafting and editing tools, including AI assistants, may be used in preparing posts. Every published post is reviewed by Gary London before it goes live, and the standards on this page — sourcing, verbatim quotes, no fabricated facts — apply regardless of the tools used to write a draft.
