Nashville, Tenn. — May 1, 2026 — Alpha The Wolf will release a new standalone single, "Beams," on May 15, 2026, the Nashville artist announced. The track is produced by Japanese producer Yuto (@justyuto) and will arrive with an official music video. A dark trap record moving toward cloud rap, dealing in themes of federal surveillance and the streets, "Beams" runs about one minute and 30 seconds on sparse 808 construction. The central refrain: "Racks on me, Racks on me / Feds been watchin', Tax on me."
Alpha The Wolf wrote and mixed the record himself, reaching out to Yuto in Japan specifically for the beat. "Just a fun lil' song about tax evasion," said Alpha The Wolf.
