This project represents a stepping stone, a shift in perspective, a transition in sound. The name says it all. It's a step into a grittier direction, a more hostile place. Gradual, but insidious. And I couldn't be more ready for people to hear it.
What you're getting with Into The Darkness are tracks I genuinely loved but couldn't find a home for on Frequencies or Synchronicity. They didn't fit those worlds and that's exactly why they needed their own. These are the gems I pulled back from the vault, the ones that refused to stay buried.
Of course the VOID can NOT be contained.
Mixed and mastered entirely by me. Every detail — the weight of the low end, the space in the high end, the way the vocals sit in the pocket — that was all intentional. This is as close to unfiltered as I've put out.
