Nashville, Tenn. — Aug. 8, 2025 — Alpha The Wolf will release a new album, Frequencies, on August 22, 2025, the Nashville artist announced. Nine tracks, self-produced and self-directed start to finish, built around the idea of catching a signal instead of chasing a feeling — and it isn't starting from nothing: two of its songs, "Round & Round" and "Tekken," have already been out as standalone singles since late 2024, racking up their own runs on YouTube before the album that houses them existed.

"Catch waves, not feelings..." (view the post)

A second post carried the record's other recurring line: "I'm afraid of the noises coming from the dark." (view the post) Between the two, the pitch for Frequencies is right there — tune into a signal, brace for whatever's transmitting on it.

Tracklist

Round & Round • Blizzard • Wicked • Seed • On The Moon • Rough Sex • Tekken • Ritz • Write Off

The cover's base photo — before the orange heat-map treatment — comes from a late-September 2024 night shoot on a Nashville marina, the same all-black tactical wardrobe and dock setting later documented in full on the site as the "Darkness on the Docks" photoshoot. Alpha The Wolf's catalog to date includes the albums Forlorn and Nyctophiliac.
