Nashville, TN — Oct. 24, 2025 — "Scenes" has an odd timeline. Announced in late September and out since October 10, the single's official music video had already been sitting on YouTube since August 2024 — more than 13 months before the song ever hit a streaming platform. It's the most recent addition to the catalog, landing right after Frequencies, even though its video is one of the oldest pieces of visual content on the site.
The rollout reel didn't read like a countdown so much as a boast, tagged straight to a collaborator: "I could catch a wave in the middle of a desert! Always in my element. Always on the scene!" — addressed to @holygrail_officiall, with a reply tacked on the end: "Send me more BLP's !!!" (view the reel)
What "Scenes" means
The video's setting — shirtless, braided, crouched between weathered boulders in a sun-dappled forest clearing — is a long way from the marina docks that defined the Frequencies cover just released weeks earlier. It's a rawer, more elemental image, which tracks with the single's own tagline: "The elements rage against the Void." Rap, trap, and cloud rap blur together across the track's two minutes, and the command in the title — "Run the scene!" — reads less like a lyric and more like a closing statement on the year that preceded it.
